Considering Poly? We'd love to meet you!
Girls’ Soccer Program Overview
While enjoying many highlights since the launch of the program in 2000, Poly Girls’ Soccer has flourished in the last several years. The Blue Devils won their first NYSAIS championship in school history in Fall 2018 and repeated the feat in 2019 while also adding the Ivy Prep League title to their list of accomplishments. A talented roster helped fuel the success—All-State, and All-Ivy Prep League Devon Olive ’19 went on to play for nationally ranked Penn State and two time All-American Sydney Urban ’20 continues her soccer career at the University of Maryland. The team has garnered several national awards, including the 2018 United Soccer Coaches Team Pinnacle Award (a national award for winning percentage, academic recognition, and ethics and sportsmanship), one of only 26 teams to earn the award in the entire country, the Team Academic Award, and the Team Ethics and Sportsmanship Award. In 2022, the team won both the Ivy Prep League and NYSAIS championship matches.
